I have always been fascinated by the critical factors that distinguish those leaders who deliver, create, and bring others with them by connecting.
I am the Managing Director of Strategy Group, and for nearly twenty years, I have worked in the two most important aspects of leadership: strategy and conflict. My varied, in-depth HR experience and training has given me a unique insight into both the factors that determine elite performance and strategy for an individual or team, and the factors that build high-performing creativity and conflict within a team.
I hold degrees in law, commerce, career development and psychology, and bring HR experience from private practice employment law, in-house HR consulting, outdoor experiential leadership development, and elite performance psychology.
I work with senior teams focussing on strategic facilitation. My work is tailored to the needs of each team, and explores strategy, leadership, performance, connection, and creativity.
My coaching approach focuses on four critical levers of high performance: awareness, future, tribe, and meaning.
I also specialise in managing conflict and how to recognise and hold courageous conversations in the workplace, providing practical tools to get you started on talking about what matters at work and at home.
I am on LDC’s Facilitation and Design, and Executive Coaching Panels, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment All-of-Government panel for the provision of HR Consulting and Services, and a professional member of HRINZ and CDANZ.
