Today’s leaders have to manage up, across and down in complex and very busy roles. A fast-paced environment can sometimes mean that relationships are a casualty of quick action, and miscommunication can lead to conflict. In this half-day workshop, learn how to state your needs clearly and steer conversations to a smoother conclusion, and know you have been heard.

Building on the LDC Learning Lab ‘The language of influence’, this is an opportunity to go deeper into the tools that support you when faced with a difficult conversation.

For those who work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, where managing relationships is a key skill, find out how to:

  • set and deliver your key messages in a clear and professional way that supports you to get the outcome you want, and preserves your relationship with the other person.
  • stay in a resourceful state when you are holding a challenging conversation
  • use the powerful tool of Reflective Listening to understand other’s concerns
  • understand the triggers to your own and other’s responses.
