Leadership programmes globally have built resilience into a key competency for leaders to learn – both in mastering their own wellbeing and supporting their people. Public sector leadership is increasingly challenging from personal, team and client perspectives. To create a resilient country we have to find ways to build the resilience of our people. This can only be done when leaders and organisations themselves are resilient.

This Learning Lab will help leaders understand what resilience is and how it has become a critical personal and leadership requirement. The lab will also provide some practical tips that leaders can put into action immediately.

Find out about the science and practice of resilience and how people can learn to demonstrate bounce, courage, creativity and connection. For each person, this will involve a unique mix of physiological, emotional and cognitive skills.

  • Be able to understand and manage the topic of resilience.
  • Learn skills to calm, energise, engage and focus.
  • Begin a journey of leading with body, heart, mind and spirit.
