Jared started his career in the New Zealand Army as an organisational psychologist, before working in government and for a large New Zealand based HR consulting firm. Since 2008, he has led his own practice providing assessment services to support development and selection processes.
Jared brings a down to earth and practical approach to his coaching. He is warm, naturally inquisitive and interested in people. He encourages participants to focus on those areas that motivate them and that will help them reach their potential in their current or future roles.
As an assessment expert, Jared brings added insight in terms of measurement and the use of assessment tools. He understands personality well as he provides a one-on-one feedback session to all candidates and participants who undertake assessments through his practice.
Jared is a New Zealand registered psychologist (Industrial/Organisational). He has a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Diploma in Sport. He is a accredited user of Hogan, SHL, Saville, Myers Briggs and 360 tools.
He is married and has 3 young daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, undertaking multisport events and fishing when the Wellington weather allows.
