Nominations are open for New Zealand Public Servants to attend the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) and the Executive Fellows Program (EFP).

On behalf of Head of Public Service, the Leadership Development Centre co-ordinates agency nominations for the ANZSOG EFP and EMPA.

Nominations for both programmes require chief executive endorsement.

Executive Fellows Program (EFP)

The EFP is designed exclusively for senior public sector executives. The upcoming EFP will be a blended model, starting with an online orientation in September, then combines 3 online modules with 1 face to face module in Sydney. EFP runs from September to December 2022. The residential module will be held on 22 to 24 November 2022. See ANZSOG’s website for more detailed information.

Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA)

The EMPA is a 2-year, part-time postgraduate qualification for emerging and ambitious public sector leaders, starting February 2023. EMPA is delivered in 8 blended learning modules and 3 university elective modules, providing a multidisciplinary curriculum tailored for today’s public service.
