Experienced People Leader Programme cohort running in August
We are piloting an LDC hosted Experienced People Leader Programme based in Wellington that will run from August 2026 to March 2027.
This is a 6-month programme for experienced people leaders who want to develop their leadership skills and move their practice from good to great.
The programme covers 4 main areas:
- Adaptive Leadership: Exploring tools and techniques to use in times of complexity and considering different viewpoints as a leader.
- Building High Performing Teams: Reflect on how to create an environment that enables the people you lead to show up at their best.
- Supporting Māori Crown Relationships: Explore your role as a leader and your responsibilities in the Maōri Crown relationship.
- Leading with Influence: Consider relationships with your stakeholders and your communication with them. Reflect on influencing models and how they can assist you.
Eligibility
We’re looking for leaders who:
- have between 2.5 – 6 years’ experience in a people leader role.
- currently have at least 3 direct reports.
- are curious and willing to learn in a conversation rich versus content driven experience.
- want to revisit leadership foundations and move their leadership from good to great.
- willing to participate in a 360° feedback process if you haven’t done so in the past 12 months.
