Paula has over 30 years’ experience in management and leadership development, gained in both the UK and New Zealand. Since arriving in New Zealand in 1994, she has worked as a consultant, mostly in the New Zealand public sector and with not-for-profits. Before immigrating to New Zealand in 1994, she held leadership positions in the oil industry in Scotland. She has been an organisational coach since 2011 and teaches coaching on an International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited teaching programme.
Paula uses strengths-based coaching and a narrative coaching approach. She sees her role as one that allows people to explore and realise their potential in a non-judgmental space. Paula creates a confidential and supportive environment while at the same time challenging and holding the coaching counterpart to account. The coaching is structured, future-focused and leads to change.
Paula is a Senior IECL Executive Organisational Coach (Institute for Executive Coaching and Leadership, Australia) and has completed Levels 1,2,3 Coach training (2011). She is a Professional Certified Coach with ICF (since 2016) and a qualified IECL Team Coach (2018).
