Belinda Bryant

LDC Facilitator - Common & Core Development

Programme: Te Kaihautū | New People Leader Development
Delivery method: Face-to-face and Virtual
Face-to-face availability: Nationally

Belinda began her career as a corporate solicitor and has spent the last 15 years as a coach, leader and facilitator.

While research and theory are an important basis for learning in this space, Belinda’s experience has taught her that:

  • The most important measure of success in adult learning is not learning something new, but rather doing something differently – even slightly – six months or more after the learning experience
  • In order to achieve this critical nudge to what are often deeply ingrained habits, learners need to be working from where they are in their current reality.

She summarises her approach to her work as ‘helping people to have insights and turn them into action’.

Belinda brings a strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the reality of the experience of leaders in the contexts of the varied organisations she works with. People often comment on her ability to build a level of psychological safety in her workshops that enables people to be vulnerable and to really enjoy their learning experience.
