Shanon is a leadership coach and facilitator with Lead with Virtue with over 10 years’ experience.

Shanon is a passionate, enthusiastic, and engaging facilitator who has the ability to work with a wide range of people from different personalities, levels of leadership, sectors and cultures to create a development experience that is transformative.

He begun facilitating leadership development with the New Zealand Defence Force, facilitating programmes from leading self through to the executive level. He has facilitated leader development with a variety of organisations, sectors and leaders including Te Manutaki New Senior System Leader programme, Kellogg Rural Leadership programme, with NZ Young Farmers, with the Papua New Guiana Defence Force, with global cohorts of Catholic priests, and with emergency management leaders.

Shanon creates a safe inclusive environment for learners to express their thoughts and beliefs while being challenged by their peers through robust, open, and respectful debate. Alongside learning new information, knowledge, and skills (horizontal development) this learning environment aids mindset growth and transformation (vertical development) through positive ideological conflict; heat experience, colliding perspectives, and elevated sense-making.

Alongside facilitating, Shanon is a leadership coach, and also leads several volunteer initiatives. This experience working intimately with leaders as their coach, and being a leader himself, allows him to understand the challenges that leaders face and he is able to bring his own transformational journey into the facilitating story.
