The AI Development Series are self‑paced digital learning resources that also form the foundation of the online AI Development Programme.

The learning provides a practical introduction to:

  • what AI is and how it is being used across the Public Service
  • the principles for safe and responsible AI use
  • putting AI into practice
  • AI now and in the future.

The focus of this learning on confidence and awareness, not technical expertise. The learning supports public servants to engage with AI thoughtfully, ask better questions, and understand their responsibilities when using or interacting with AI‑enabled tools.
