Geoff believes deeply in the power of human innovation to catalyse positive change for both individual leaders and the wider world. Having supported the development of New Zealand public sector leaders for over a decade, he uniquely understands the systemic complexities they face and the intergenerational impacts of their work. On a global scale, Geoff delivers coaching and cutting-edge leadership initiatives to specialists and executives at all levels, working with organizations ranging from early-stage startups and NGOs to Fortune 500 companies.
In his practice, Geoff helps leaders and teams expand their perspectives of themselves and the systems around them. Working from a whole-parts-whole framework, he uses real-life challenges as gateways for leadership development. Central to his approach is a deep curiosity about the relationship between individuals and organizations, and how each influences the other. Geoff has a keen eye for what occurs below the surface, offering his observations in a generous, non-judgmental way.
Geoff listens deeply, supporting others to better listen to themselves. Through clear, curious, and challenging questions, he helps leaders and teams identify their growth edges, explore new perspectives, surface possibilities, and translate insights into immediate application. By balancing accountability, structure, challenge, and support, Geoff tailors his approach to meet clients where they are today while building their capacity, readiness, and confidence to lead through complexity with greater ease and impact.
As a dedicated, lifelong learner, Geoff holds a Ph.D. in Management, during which he researched how to accelerate entrepreneurial learning in early-stage startup teams. His professional training includes the Leadership Circle System, Growth Edge Coaching, and Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC).
Geoff lives on the Kāpiti Coast, has a small family and is an avid adventurer.
