Mo takes a pragmatic, whole‑being approach to coaching, meeting leaders where they are and working with the realities of their context in leadership and life. She partners with you to set clear outcomes up front and then helps you translate insight into daily practices that shift how you show up and lead. Through curiosity, thoughtful questioning and reflective experiments, Mo supports you to gain clarity of thought, close the Know–Do gap, and make deliberate choices about the impact you want to have.
Mo adds value through both her style and her experience. She blends leadership coaching, strategic consulting and facilitation, enabling you to work on real challenges in real time while building capability “from the inside out”. Leaders describe feeling both stretched and supported: Mo “gets” their world quickly, brings evidence‑based tools and practices, and creates a calm space for honest reflection, experimentation and growth.
Mo has over 10 years of coaching experience, including HR advisory and management roles, and eight years as an independent consultant. She has worked with senior leaders and managers across the public sector, Iwi and Māori organisations, regional trusts, and purpose‑driven businesses around Aotearoa. This breadth gives her a strong feel for the complex, multi‑stakeholder environments in which New Zealand’s leaders are operating – and the pressures they face to deliver today while building capability for tomorrow.
Her coaching qualifications and accreditations include Results Brain‑Based Coaching (International Coach Federation aligned, 2011) and Enhanced Skills Practitioner training in Conversational Intelligence (2019), completing a Neuroscience Bootcamp with Dr Sarah McKay (2025). Her current practice is also informed by research in neuroscience, resilience, habit science and whole‑being leadership, drawn together in the Future‑Fit Leadership Experience she co‑designed and delivers.
Areas of specific leadership coaching expertise include:
- Leading through change and uncertainty – from new strategic directions to operating model and structural shifts, while sustaining personal and team resilience.
- Leading in complex, multi‑stakeholder systems – navigating diverse expectations across government, Iwi, community, and sector partners, and strengthening relational and conversational intelligence.
- Growing future‑fit leadership – developing daily habits and rituals that support clarity, focus, energy and connection, and embedding these into how leaders and teams work together.
